What's Coming Up: Week of May 7th-11th
REMINDERS:
Adult Education & certification classes continue until late May.
Good luck with finals this week! We want to help you finish strong!! Please talk with your coach about how to prepare for your final exams in the most effective and least stressful way possible! Check out these short videos for some excellent study tips.
ACE Orientation is scheduled for May 29th. Stay tuned for more details. Remember, all students who plan to participate in ACE in summer need to 1) have completed a Summer 2018 Next Semester Plan (see below) and 2) attend orientation.
ACE's summer deadline has passed, but we are currently accepting students who want to start (or re-start) in fall. Please spread the word!
Are you ready for next semester?
By now, you and your coach should have completed a Next Semester Plan, which helps you plan your next classes, register, and make sure your next semester is paid for. Next Semester Plans were due on Friday, May 4th. If your Next Semester Plan is not yet complete, please speak to your coach ASAP to see if they can accept a late plan.
HiSET Graduation!
HiSET Graduation is on May 25th! Any Delgado Adult Education student who has passed his/her HiSET test by May is invited to walk in graduation and participate in the cap and gown ceremony. Please speak with your coach or contact our office directly (504-671-5434) to RSVP.
And remember: No matter what time of year you pass your HiSET test, you can always walk in the following graduation! Just contact our office when you pass and we'll add you to our graduation list.
