Getting Organized

Study Better

Google Calendar is another free app connected to your Google account.  Access it by logging into your Inbox account and clicking on the apps icon (the grey grid in the upper right corner).

If you already use a calendar on your phone, you can sync that calendar with a Google calendar if you want to be able to add things to your calendar from a computer.

This is an easy way to be able to add a lot of things to your calendar at once and to see your calendar easily (or even print it).  For example, if you want to add your full class schedule to your calendar, you might find it easiest to do that on a computer.

Google calendars also allow you to do things like create different calendars for different types of events or just color-code events.  For example, you might make adult education classes one color, certification classes another color, work a different color, and planned study time another color.

Here's a video that explains it.  To access this calendar on your phone or tablet, you can either open your phone's default calendar app and sync it with the Google Calendar, or you can download Google Calendar's app to your device.

Inbox by Google

Inbox is a tool to help you manage your email, reminders, and calendars in one easy place.

It's an app in the Google Suite, meaning you can access it through a Google account if you already have one, and you can make a Google account at www.google.com if you don't.

Then go to https://inbox.google.com/ to access Inbox.  When you first open it, it will show you around a bit.

This video shows the features of Inbox  (This video is from 2015, so some things it says are a little outdated.  For example, you don't have to download it to your phone first.)
