ACE Weekly Update -- October 20th, 2017
What's Coming Up:
Oct. 23rd-27th
Reminders:
Nov. 7th is the last day to withdraw from a college class. If you're in any class where you don't think you can earn a C or better, we suggest you seek advice from your coach and your instructor.
We're currently accepting ACE students for Spring 2018! If you know someone who might be interested, please share this information with them.

It's time to do your new FAFSA!
The 2018-2019 FAFSA is ready. The sooner you submit your FAFSA, the more aid you're eligible to receive. Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete you new FAFSA.
Remember: There will be a question that says something like, “At the time you begin school, which of the following will you have? High school diploma / High school equivalency / Home school diploma / None of the above” You MUST select “None of the above” if you do not already have your high school equivalency or diploma.
What would you like to see on our website?
We're currently adding new sections to the Student Support website (www.dccaep.wixsite.com/support). We'd like you to tell us what you think we should include! Email us at aceprogram@dcc.edu to let us know.
Remember to sign up for Delgado Alerts to receive notification of unplanned campus closures! http://www.dcc.edu/student-services/e2campus/

Shout Outs are here! Has someone done something awesome this week? Want to share it with the world? You can! To submit a shout out for someone in the program, click HERE. Each week, we will post the Shout Outs that students and faculty submit in the ACE Weekly Update.

Belated Announcement: Madalene Davis

Ms. Madalene Davis was selected as Student of the Week a few weeks ago but we didn't print a full announcement or photo, so here it is!
We are honored to present Ms. Madalene Davis with this award. Ms. Davis has maintained perfect attendance in her ServSafe class. She is punctual to her coaching meetings and she always calls to confirm or if something arises. Ms. Davis is certainly demonstrating that she is on a mission to succeed.
Next Student of the Week: Peter Haar!
Peter Haar, you have been selected as the next Student of the Week! Please see your coach for your certificate and prize!
