What's Coming Up:
June 26th-30th
Exit Exam Pre-Tests
Earlier this week we sent emails to the students who are eligible to take exit exam pre-tests (to check their readiness for exit exams). If you received one of those emails, please make sure to sign up today for a pre-test appointment.
Following the pre-test, students will schedule an appointment with Josh to review their results and, if they qualify, sign up for your official test. You can read more about exit exams here.
Financial Planning for Next Semester
Next week during coaching meetings, coaches will be checking in with you about your financial plan for the fall semester. We'll discuss the following things:
What types of scholarship or financial aid you'll qualify for
How to apply for the scholarships or aid you plan to use
What your scholarship or aid will and won't cover
What you need to do to maintain your eligibility
Bring all of your questions about academic financial planning!
Midterm Grades
For students in college classes, your midterm grades should now be available on LoLA within the next couple days (if they're not already available). The grade you'll see is your total grade so far in each class. To see them, do the following:
Visit www.dcc.edu
Log into LoLA
Click on Delgado Community College under Self Service
Click on Student
Click on Student Records
Select "Grades"
Workshops Are Coming!
In order to help you continue to build your college skills, we'll soon be offering a new series of workshops open to ACE students, other adult education students, DCC students, and the public. Next week, we'll send out a survey to find out what days, times, and topics are most of interest to you! Keep an eye out.
