Welcome to the new Weekly Update! From now on, we'll write the Weekly Update in this blog on our brand new website!
ACE Spring 2017 planners are ready! You pick yours up from your coach at your coaching appointment or you can stop by the office to pick yours up from Natalie.
Certification classes (NCCER, IC3, and ServSafe) begin this week! ServSafe and IC3 began today and NCCER begins tomorrow.
Study hall has begun! Check out the schedule below to see if you can fit some extra study time in your schedule. Practice HiSET tests are also available during study hall -- ask your coach to sign you up!
Several students turned in their completed College Knowledge Scavenger Hunts. We'll be reviewing those this week and giving special recognition to the folks with the most complete answers!
Weekly Update emails will often include important next steps for you to take! We suggest you make notes to yourself as you read.
You have a new website!
The ACE coaches have been working for the last several weeks on developing a new website to help all adult education students get the information they need, including ways to study better, get college ready, plan next steps, and find other supports. Please take some time this week to explore the site, www.dccaep.wixsite.com/support to see what you think. We're still adding more content, so please let us know what you'd like us to add or what you can't find. Please email us at aceprogram@dcc.edu with questions or comments.

Click here to learn how to log in to your DCC email and Canvas (the college's learning management system where many of your teachers will post homework, tests, and grades).
Complete the online freshman orientation here. NOTE: You do NOT need to sign up for a placement test, so please ignore that part.
We've got a lot going on in coaching this week, so make sure you're at your appointment! If you need to reschedule for any reason, please contact your coach ASAP.
ACE Student Textbook Exchange
Don't have your textbooks yet for the new semester? Want to buy or sell a textbook? We've heard from several ACE students looking to buy or sell textbooks. We'll use this section to post books that ACE students want to resell. If you want to post a book for sale, email aceprogram@dcc.edu with the book's title, author, edition, ISBN, and the class you used it for.
